Try out Platial's MapKit
Summary
Let's test out Platial's MapKit on PBwiki, a free wiki site. Other examples in sidebar to the right.
A map of Argentina should appear above. If it doesn't, you probably need to click on "Enable scripts" below. Sorry about that.
Problems:
- On some pages, the list of places doesn't show up in Firefox and Opera (WinXP)
- It's due to an interaction between PBWiki's sidebar and the list of places.
- A workaround is to set the map width to 75%.
- There's an extra space below the map that I can't seem to get rid of.
- The "Add a Place" fields and buttons have borders missing in IE and Opera.
Conclusion
MapKit works pretty well on PBWiki! Except for the Javascript issue, which is really a PBWiki problem.
